Secretary-General Danny Hirschberg of the Bnei Akiva religious youth group eulogized Rabbi Avraham Zuckerman, Sunday, at the rabbi's funeral in Kfar Haroeh. He talked about the dean of the movement's yeshiva network as a central figure and partner for nearly 80 of his 98 years, stressing the values the rabbi taught. Following Hirschberg's words, those in attendance sang the Bnei Akiva anthem.
Earlier, Rabbi Haim Druckman, the current head of the yeshiva network, called Rabbi Zuckerman's passing "the end of a generation of founders and builders, a generation of giants through whose merit we dwarves were privileged to receive what we received. These are the ones who built the Zionist Torah world in the country."
