Weekend Weather: Wet and Cooler than Usual, then Warmer


It will be clear to cloudy and cooler on Friday, with winds up to 35 kilometers/22 miles an hour. Scattered showers are expected in the north and center of the country during the day, accompanied by a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Light rain is expected in the north overnight with isolated showers Shabbat morning and afternoon. Temperatures will drop below normal on Shabbat but a warming trend, starting Sunday, will bring temperatures above average on Monday under fair skies. Strong northerly winds are expected along the Mediterranean coast.
