Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu today (Thursday) addressed the problem of repatriating illegal infiltrators, as he was about to enter a meeting with Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein.
“Our goal is two-fold,” the Prime Minister began, “the first is to completely contain the entry of illegal infiltrators into our cities at all. And we have succeeded in this. The number is now at “zero”, and will continue to be so,” he continued.
“The second goal is to continue to repatriation of those illegals who have already entered Israel. We want to accomplish both these goals, but of course in a lawful and acceptable manner. And for these reasons, I am meeting with Attorney-General Weinstein,” Netanyahu commented before entering the meeting.
Minister of the Interior, Gideon Saar added, “The Supreme Court’s ruling has created a new situation with which we must deal with. Today I am going to present the Prime Minister with a plan that we have worked on over the last month that will delineate steps we need to take to protect the State, its borders, and its citizens.”
