Representatives of the Likud Party’s “Lavi Cell” (a group of Likud students at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem) met with Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat at his office last night (Tuesday), where they expressed their support for him for another term. Also present at the meeting was Ariel Morley, a member of Barkat’s “Jerusalem Will Succeed” faction and former chairman of Lavi.
The Lavi representatives told Mayor Barkat that, “This is a critical election. We are approaching it with an inner integrity to determine what will bode best for young people.”
“We of the Likud student Lavi Cell support you, as one who will represent strong, liberal national values,” they added.
