Security forces of the Palestinian Authority last week aided an Israeli man who had been attacked and then car-jacked in central Samaria, according to a report on Kol Yisrael (radio).
According to the report, the man was letting off Arab workers from his vehicle by the side of the road near the communities of Alei Zahav and Paduel. He then was approached by two young Palestinian Arabs who yanked opened the door, pulled him out, beat him, and then fled in his car.
A PA Security officer arrived at the scene and took the Israeli to a nearby village where he administered first aid before taking him and handing him over to the police in Ariel. The officer said he was acting under Mahmoud Abbas's orders to immediately intervene to thwart any attack on Israelis who were in PA territories.
