The Ministry of Health has refused to provide a budget for Magen David Adom (MDA) in Judea and Samaria, thus forcing them to close the 13 ambulance stations that serve the region.
Arutz Sheva has learned that in recent months the Ministry of Health had only allocated half the normal budget, making it more and more difficult to maintain the 13 ambulance stations. A source at MDA said that just recently a new site had opened in Samaria, but that the organization was having a great amount of difficulty keeping it open with no budget.
Yesterday (Monday) a meeting took place between MDA’s CEO Eli Bin and Minister of Health Yael German to discuss the issue. The Minister said she would check into the matter and take care of it. Mr. Bin said that he would postpone closing the stations for two weeks.
