      Brain Drain Exemplified by Nobel Prize Winner Lamented

      Opposition leader Shelly Yacimovich (Labor) simultaneously congratulated Nobel Prize winner Prof. Arieh Warshel, and lamented that he exemplified a 'brain drain.' The phenomenon of intelligent Israeli leave the country is something Israel must combat, MK Yacimovich stated on Wednesday following the announcement of Prof. Warshel's award. "The government to understand that it must go back and invest in building serious academic infrastructure," she stated. Prof. Arieh Warshel was born in Israel and currently lives in California and teaches at the University of South California.
