The Lahav 433 unit of the Israeli police has arrested four suspects in connection with multiple counts of fuel theft from several gas stations throughout the central region. According to one of the suspects, the fuel was stored and later resold.
Part of this mornings arrest included the confiscation of over 1,000 liters of gasoline, as well as other property that was in the suspects' possession.
Charges being brought against them range from theft, to reckless endangerment in the handling of fuel, and conspiracy. Three out of the four are to appear this afternoon in Rishon Letzion's Magistrate Court, where there will be a request to extend their remand into custody.
