Lynn to Lapid: Rebuild Investment-Incentive Law

President Uriel Lynn of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce called on Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Tuesday, to rebuild the Law for Encouraging Capital Investments. Lynn said he thought the time had come for an urgent, thorough examination of the principles on which the law was based.

Lynn said the primary reason for re-examining the law was that it was based on deception under international agreements due to its definitions. He explained, "During the debate on the state budget, changes were made to the law and, to some extent, differences in taxation between the beneficiaries of the tax benefits under this act and the entire business sector were reduced."
