It will be clear with a rise in temperature but still cooler than usual, Monday, with northerly or northeasterly winds up to 50 kilometers/31 miles an hour along the Mediterranean coast and the western Negev down to Eilat. A high-wave warning is in effect until 10 a.m. at Mediterranean beaches and a fire warning for Mount Carmel and the hills of the Galilee region, with a high fire index in the western parts of the Galilee and western parts of Samaria (Shomron). The winds will continue to blow on the coast on Tuesday but temperatures will rise above normal there, reaching seasonal norms in other parts of the country. Additional warming on Wednesday will bring the rest of the country above normal as the winds subside. The unseasonably warm weather will continue on Thursday, despite a drop in temperature in the coastal plain.
