No change was reported, Friday morning, in the condition of Rabbi Ovadia Yoseph, the spiritual advisor of the Sephardic hareidi-religious Shas party, in the intensive care unit at Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. He was fully conscious and breathing on his own.
The rabbi's relatives reported that he thanked the doctors for their dedicated service. He is suffering from some difficulty speaking as a result of the tracheotomy tube near his vocal chords. The public is asked to continue praying for the recovery of Harav Haim Ovadia Yoseph ben Georgia, among the ailing of Israel.
