Aryeh King, the land of Israel activist who heads the Frontline Communities ticket on the Jerusalem municipal ballot, told the official state memorial service for assassinated tourism minister Rechav'am "Ghandi" Ze'evi, Thursday, that Ze'evi was his teacher and mentor regarding love of the land of Israel, the people of Israel and the Torah of Israel. King referred to the presence of President Shim'on Peres, who also addressed the observance at Jerusalem's Mount Herzl, as, "the architect of [the] Oslo [Accords which created the Palestinian Authority -ed.], who - without a doubt - had a hand in creating the sad reality that enabled the murderers of Ghandi to carry out their scheme. How ironic."
King also said, "Ghandi was assassinated by terrorist murderers. Someday, most unfortunately, I will not be surprised if the current of Israel, despite its composition, will agree to release his murderers in the name of 'peace'."
