Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu’s wife, Sarah Netanyahu, today (Thursday) visited America’s oldest military academy, West Point. During her visit, Mrs. Netanyahu met with the Academy’s commander, General (3 stars) Robert Caslen and his wife. The General presented Mrs. Netanyahu with a special album which tells about West Point’s history, and was inscribed with a personal dedication.
At another point in the visit, the Prime Minister’s wife met with the person who runs the Academy’s new Holocaust Studies program, as well as with the Rabbi who serves as the West Point’s Chief Jewish Chaplain. The Rabbi took her around to see the synagogue that is located there, and also showed her a Torah scroll that survived the Holocaust.
