Israeli Film Bethlehem Wins Top Awards

Bethlehem, the debut film from Yuval Adler wowed the international Haifa Film Festival winning the best film award. The film’s lead actor Tsahi Halevi took home the best actor award. It earned the highest number of nominations for the Ophir Awards to date. The film also won a top prize at the Venice Film Festival a month ago.

The film co-stars Tsahi Halevi, who has been nominated for best actor for his role as well. HaLevi is a 20 year veteran in the Israeli music scene having been a finalist on The Voice and a judge for the Hallelujah global Jewish singing contest. He also performed on HaBima, the Israel National Theater and is a veteran of an elite IDF combat unit and now is an award winning actor as well.
