Lapid Makes Emotional Anti-Racism Speech in Hungary

Finance Minister Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) spoke at an conference on anti-Semitism conference held at the Hungarian parliament in Budapest. "We must not underestimate racism, we must not let it grow," he stated. "Seventy years ago there was a sign hanging on this beautiful Parliament building reading 'no dogs or Jews.' We can not forget," Lapid said. Lapid's father was a Holocaust survivor from a Hungarian Jewish family and was deported by the Nazis to Budapest. His grandfather was killed in the Holocaust.
