Netanyahu Lands in New York

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu landed in New York, Monday evening, ahead of his address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. He is expected to call on the international community to increase pressure against Iran's nuclear development program and not ease economic sanctions against the Tehran government.

Netanyahu met United States President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry during a visit to Washington on Monday. While in the American capital, he also met with members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and attended a farewell event for outgoing Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren.
