In a meeting today (Monday) between Israel’s Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Barak Obama at the White House, the Prime Minister emphasized that, as world leaders, it was their obligation to “judge our success by the results,” in response to Iran President Hassan Rouhani’s speech at the U.N. last week.
“Ever since I came to the White House, I have come to realize the importance of Israel’s security,” Obama said to Netanyahu.
Regarding the Iranian issue, Obama said, “We are obligated to try and solve this through diplomacy. It is my hope we will be able to resolve the problem this way. If not – all options are on the table.”
