New York Family Escapes Mount of Olives Attacks

A family visiting from New York was attacked with rocks near the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem on Wednesday. The site is the oldest Jewish cemetery in the world in which many famous people people are buried. The attackers threw bricks and stones smashing the windows of the car and causing other damage. The driver took evasive action and was able to escape the attack and drive to a nearby police station. Police are searching for the suspects. One of the passengers was injured the head and hand and was taken by ambulance to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. The is is the latest rock attack in the Mount of Olives area.
