In an exclusive interview with Israel Today, the owner of the Bat Yam restaurant where murdered soldier Tomer Hazan worked revealed that he was also approached by the same terrorist who murdered Hazan -- Nidal Amar.
Moti Almshali, owner of “Tzahi Besarim” restaurant, tells his story. “Three months ago, Nidal came to me and told me that in his village of Beit Amin they had discovered a cache full of money in the ruins of an ancient building under his house. He said they had told the sheikh of the village, who had forbidden for them to destroy that part of the house in order to get to the money. Then Nidal suggested that I bring a rabbi with me to his house to break the curse so we could gain access to the treasure hidden there. Nidal assured me we would both become very rich.”
“I blew it off,” he continued, “and when I learned that he was the one who murdered Tomer, I realized that if I had brought a rabbi with me to his house, we both would have been victims of a horrible murder.”
“In all the time I knew him he never mentioned the fact that he had a brother who was sitting in an Israeli prison,” Amshali concluded.
