Yesterday (Sunday), thousands of tourists from all around Israel reached some 40 tourist sites which opened throughout Judea and Samaria as part of the “It’s All Open” tourist festival. 800 hikers enjoyed Sebastia National Park, while Mt. Kabir, the Kana River and Mt. Gezirim each saw approximately 1,000 tourists enjoying their splendor, and an additional 2,000 people explored the beauty of Itamar Ridge.
The highlight of the festival, Mt. Ebal, where Yehoshua ben Nun’s altar can be visited year-round, played host to another 1,000 people who took advantage of intermediate days of the Sukkot festival to discover and re-discover Samaria’s beauty.
