A group of ten youths who held a loud trance party into the night in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem claims that Shin Bet chief Yoram Cohen, who lives in the area, acted violently towards them.
Channel 10 News reported on Monday evening that Cohen called the police to disperse the group, but they chose to continue the loud party, at which point Cohen and his personal security guard approached the youths, asking them to turn down the music. The youths did not take well to the attempt to end their party and began confronting the guard. One of the youths later claimed that Cohen grabbed his hand and started throwing things.
The Shin Bet said in response, “The citizen Yoram Cohen asked a group of youths who held a party held near his home and made noise throughout the night to stop it. The police arrived and cleared the youngsters away.”
