Coalition Chairman Yariv Levin said, Sunday evening, "The beginning of our path was not easy, but I promise here - I will stay in my position as long as we go on the right path." Addressing a New Year's toast, he stressed that his role is not only to steer the ship, but "to be a partner to carry the burden and ensure that the ship will be in the right direction of building and settlement throughout the country, pointed in the direction of maintaining social justice." The Likud lawmaker noted, "The reality today is not simple in the security , political and socio-economic field."
Levin said one of his aims was to keep different groups from taking over the Likud. He said the party must maintain its members all year round, especially during the upcoming municipal elections.
