The Temple Institute together with the Manhigut Yehudit organization are planning a visit to the Temple Mount on Sukkot, replicating the ancient Aliya L'Regel, the pilgrimage festivals to Jerusalem. All visits will be under the auspices of trained rabbis to ensure no one walks upon sacred ground and stays only on the outer path of the complex where the Holy Temple once stood.
The half-day program will begin with a Halachic tour of the Temple Mount followed by a tour of the brand new Temple Institute Visitors Center in the Old City of Jerusalem which is home to some of the 60 sacred vessels that Temple Institute has recreated for use in the Third Beit HaMikdash. The tours will be led by Rabbi Chaim Richman, International Director of the Temple Institute and host of Israel National Radio's Temple Talk podcast. Deputy Speaker of the Knesset Moshe Feiglin will address participants following the tour. The event is scheduled for September 23rd.
