MDA On High Alert for Yom Kippur

Magen David Adom General  Director Eli Bin has conducted an assessment  and met with MDA staff  for the upcoming Yom Kippur fast.  The alert level was raised to three, the highest level there is, and will remain in place from Yom Kippur Eve through the end of the holiday, the following night.

MDA stations throughout the country will have additional staff, ambulances, medication, mobile ICU's.  Schedules have been modified, as well,  so that there is round-the-clock sufficient aid available through the entire period to provide urgent care and first aid to anyone who feels unwell or needs help.

The public is being asked to not clog traffic lanes and allow ambulances to pass when needed.
