Based on a tip, Freiberg police exposed a Neo-Nazi plot to attack leftist activists when they uncovered both explosives and homemade model airplanes during raids on the homes of four suspects and at a Neo-Nazi meeting.
During last week's execution of the searches, additional explosives and chemicals designed for bomb-making and drugs were also uncovered. The rightist extremists allegedly intended to arm the explosive-carrying model airplanes to be triggered by remote radio signal.
Police arrested a 23-yr.-old man with ties to the extremist right wing group on suspicion of having ordered the device. Another man, 43, is being investigated for building the bomb, and was released on bail. Two additional young men are also being investigated for their connection to the affair.
