A girl was reported lightly injured when agitators threw rocks at a passing bus near the Mount of Olives on Monday. The girl's hand was injured from broken glass when the rocks hit the bus. The incident occurred in Jerusalem as the group was visiting the Mont of Olives cemetery, considered Judaism's oldest cemetery. The group was form Ashkelon and were participating in their annual slichot prayer service visit during the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The bus sustained damage. No other injuries were reported.

It was also reported Tuesday that rock throwing attacks and vandalism have declined at the Mount of Olives. The area straddles Jewish and Arab neighborhoods.
