Extended Hours at Emergency-Kit Distribution Points

The Postal Authority and the Homefront Command decided, Wednesday, to expand hours at distribution points for security-emergency kits in post offices around the country, following the press of people going to get the kits on Wednesday. It was decided not to open more distribution points at this stage of developments in Syria - whose government and allies in Iran and the Hezbollah terror group have threatened Israel.

The distribution point at 137 Hahagana Street in Tel Aviv will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and the distribution point in Haifa's Romema neighborhood will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. will be the distribution points in Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem's Shmuel Hanavi neighborhood and Ma'aleh Adumim.

Channel 2 Television reported, Thursday morning that 50-60 people were lined up at the Hahagana St. location in Tel Aviv about an hour before it opened.
