Three Jewish Youths Arrested in Yitzhar After Protest

Three youths were arrested on Wednesday in Yitzhar. One was suspected of rioting. Another was suspected of violating a restraining order. The third individual was suspected of being wanted for questioning. All three were interrogated by the police.

On Wednesday residents of Yitzhar protested and refused to allow Arab construction workers to enter the town. The community has suffered numerous terrorist attacks in the past and considered the presence of Arab workers operating heavy machinery a serious security risk. IDF soldiers arrived at the scene to attempt to bring in the Arab bulldozer drivers but were met with protesters. The police agreed to the request that only Jewish workers be employed.
