Knesset Minister Reuven Rivlin (Likud - Yisrael Beiteinu) spoke about gas mask distribution at a special subcommittee meeting on national preparedness on Wednesday. He said that the gas mask kits have an expiration date and citizens need to obtain up-to-date kits. "I suggest the public not to panic. The State of Israel has the ability to deal with chemical threats," Rivlin stated.
Gas masks can be obtains at one's local post office or through a home delivery service. There are special gas masks for children and babies.
