85-year-old blues singer L.C. Ulmer played a series on concerts in Israel, ending with a show in Jaffa on Monday. He is a native of Mississippi, from where much of American blues music generated. He also participated in the Intimidbar Festival in Mitzpe Ramon. Israeli acts who performed at the festival included Alma Zohar, Boom Pam, Amiram Eini and others. A documentary film on blue music entitled We Juke Up in Here premiered as well. Ulmer is one of the many musicians from America and other countries to perform in Israel in recent years.
