Report: US Updating Options for Attacking Syria

The United States has begun to take a new look at options for attacking Syria to punish President Bashar Al-Assad for Wednesday's chemical-weapons attack on a suburb of Damascus, according to a Thursday-evening report by the Wall Street Journal. The newspaper stressed that such an attack would only take place if it is proven that Assad was responsible.

According to the report, the Pentagon has begun to update the targets for a possible air attack, which include military and government sites.
