Units of the Kefir anti-terror brigade arrested two wanted terror suspects, Thursday evening, in the Palestinian Authority-assigned areas of Judea. One arrest was made in Hirbath Ruq'a, south of Hevron and the other was made in Dura, west of Hevron.
In Dura, site of a violent confrontation in February, a violent disorder developed as 70 Arabs threw rocks at the troops. There were no Israeli casualties but a military vehicle was damaged. The soldiers responded with riot-dispersal methods. One Arab was hit by a rubber bullet but did not require treatment. He was also arrested and turned over to security agencies for questioning, as were the two wanted suspects.
