Claude Isaac (Khayat) and Eric Rubic (Rubik, Roubi) will be summoned before a judge in Paris, next month and be charged with manslaughter, failure to aid a person in danger and hit-and-run in the death of pedestrian Lee Zeitouni in September 2011 in Tel Aviv, according to a Thursday report by the French newspaper Le Figaro. The maximum fine for the offenses is ten years in prison and a fine of 150,000 Euros.
The two fled Israel after the incident. France started its investigation in July 2012. Rubic was arrested before dawn, Thursday, following a brawl involving criminals in a town on the French Riviera, where he was vacationing. He had an unlicensed gun. It's the second time he has been arrested for various crimes in the last year.
