Bennett Considering Cancelling the Primaries

Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett is considering cancelling his party’s primaries in the wake of Wednesday’s State Comptroller's report which found irregularities in the conduct of candidates, including Bennett himself, in the primaries of the various political parties.

Channel 2 News reported on Wednesday evening that Bennett is set to announce that the party's Knesset list will be determined by a committee in place of the primaries. The committee will reserve spots on the list for secular candidates, in order to put together a list that could compete against the Likud for right wing votes.
