Fatah Accuses Hamas of Document Forgery

The latest incident in the ongoing conflict between Fatah (PLO) and Hamas revolves around a document, allegedly sent to Vladimir Putin by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Tonight (Wednesday), Fatah accused Hamas of having forged a document allegedly sent from Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazzen to Russian President Vladimir Putin, asking for Putin’s support for the new Egyptian leadership.

The document appeared in the Hamas website, “Palestine Now”. The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, said that the document appears to indicate it is a forgery, with regards to the caption, logo, and the Abu Mazzen signature.
