The release of 26 terrorists from Israeli prisons several days ago, was the first step in the release of a total of 104. It is recognized that much of this was due to the great amount of U.S. pressure exerted upon Israel to take this action in the name of “peace negotiations”. But now the U.S. is expressing concern, as one of the released terrorists victims was a U.S. citizen.
According to the traditional U.S. position, they wiil not release terrorists who have killed U.S. citizens. This apparently doesn’t affect their willingness to pressure other countries to release the murderers of their citizens.
