Shady Shadchans Stole Shekels from Shidduchim

A couple in their 40s who worked as professional matchmakers were accused of cheating their clients. The shadchan couple were accused of using credit card information from their customers to purchase products worth over 25 thousand shekels. They will be presented with a request for a remand by the Nazareth Magistrate Court. The guilt of the suspects has not been determined at this time. Many Israeli and Jewish singles will seek the help of a shadchan, or matchmaker for a shidduch, or match.
