Housing Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home - National Union) visited construction sites in Tel Tzion and Kochav Yaakov, two communities in the Shomron (Samaria) district where the government intents to build new housing units. "We'll try to build more and more across the country," he stated Tuesday evening while visiting the site. He added, "the location of an area should not dictate whether or not to build. The government has the right and the duty to build anywhere in the Land of Israel." He said it was discriminator to differentiate between the populous greater Tel Aviv area and post-1967 communities such as Ariel and Karne Shomron.
