The EMET Prize Committee, under the auspices of the Prime Minister, have chosen the award winners for 2013. "The EMET Prize is an annual prize given for excellence in academic and professional achievements that have far reaching influence and significant contribution to society," as described by the A.M.N. Foundation for the Advancement of Science, Art and Culture. The Prime Minister will bestow the awards at a ceremony in November. The names of the 2013 winners have yet to be released. Past winner have included experts in computer science, and photography, award winning poets, mathematicians, professors in ancient history and others.
