400 Bulgarians to Work in Construction in Israel

A joint mission of Israeli builders and representatives of the Israel Population and Immigration Authority has just returned from Bulgaria after professionally interviewing and testing close to 700 applicants for construction work in Israel.

The Bulgarian government signed a bilateral agreement with Israel allowing and encouraging the workers' employment. There are already about 700 Bulgarian building workers in Israel.

Another mission will arrive in Moldova within two weeks to test 1200 additional applicants after a similar agreement was signed with that government.

The Israeli Authority's expressed its satisfaction at the level of cooperation between the governments on mutually beneficial issues.
