Opposition Leader Shelly Yechimovich criticized Treasurer Yair Lapid, Monday, during debate on the 2013-2014 budget and Financial Arrangements Law. Tracing Lapid's history, the former journalist said, "You criticized [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu, ridiculed him, promised to do the opposite of him, the opposite of what the old politicians did. You also remind us at every opportunity of the terrible inheritance he left you - and you have become his spokesman."
Yechimovich also used the Whatsup application to send Knesset members pictures of Lapid taking part in demonstrations with signs reading, "Where's the money?" and invited them to watch him demonstrate against the same policy he is leading today. She called him a "great spokesman, once for a bank, once for protest and once for the opposite".
