The Egyptian Interior Ministry reported on its Facebook page, Monday, that terrorists operating in the Sinai Peninsula fired a long-range ballistic missile at a ministry building in northern Sinai. A number of security forces were wounded by the missile's direct hit on the third floor.
The ministry described the missile as American made, with a length of 168 centimeters/66 inches and a diameter of 25 centimeters/9.8 inches. Based on the declaration of the ministry, the missile could also pose a threat to Israel. Searches of the area resulted in the arrest of a number of suspects, including a Palestinian Authority resident.
