Verdict Due in Eden Natan Zada Lynching

A district court is expected to render its verdict, Monday, in the August 4, 2005 lynching death of Eden Natan Zada after he opened fire and killed four people on an Egged bus in Shefar'am, near Haifa.

Zada was arrested by police who arrived on the scene but an angry mob broke into the bus and lynched him. Twelve residents of Shefar'am were arrested and seven brought to trial on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault on a police officer, intefering with an officer in the performance of his duties and rioting which caused damage.
