Report: Syrian Rebel Supporters Could Terrorize West

An increasing number of Muslim extremists with Western passports are flocking to Syria to join forces opposed to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, according to a weekend report by the New York Times.

Concern is growing among Western intelligence agencies about the threat of terror from those extremists when they return to their home countries. Senior intelligence sources say about 600 Western citizens are fighting in Syria and that they will return to the West more extreme than ever and receive instructions from the Al-Qaeda international terror network to carry out attacks.
