"Tomorrow Morning We'll See a New Chief Rabbinate"

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan (Bayit Yehudi - National Union) is set to announce the two new Chief Rabbis now that the voting has been completed. He told Arutz Sheva news that he was pleased with the extensive media coverage of the elections. "The public understands that the Chief Rabbinate in Israel is important for everyone," he stated. Member of Knesset Ben Dahan, as an official of the Religious Affairs Ministry, will be tasked with announcing the results of the vote. He personally served in the Director-General of the Rabbinical Courts for over 20 years before becoming an MK.
