Police are searching for the suspect or suspects that stabbed a man in Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon. The man was reported to be about 40 years of age. He was stabbed in the stomach and back and treated at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics before being evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. Initial reports said the incident occurred in Katamon, a relatively quiet, central neighborhood. Additional reports said it took place in Gan HaPaamon, or Liberty Bell Park, near Katamon, which is frequented by a mix of Jewish and non-Jewish residents. There is no indication as of yet whether in stabbing was a terrorist attack, a hate crime or criminal in nature.
