Strollers Go Free Except During Morning Rush Hour

A new Transportation Ministry regulation went into effect, Tuesday, eliminating the fare paid by passengers for open baby carriages and strollers on city buses and the Jerusalem light rail. Folded up baby carriages and strollers were exempt until now.

The fare will continue to be collected between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. because of the premium on space during the morning's peak traveling period.
