Slightly more than seven years after the attack that resulted in the death of Israeli soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, the Al-Manar television station associated with Lebanese terror group Hizbullah broadcast, Sunday, the first-ever pictures of Khaled Al-Bazli, the commander of the operation. Channel 2 Television said the video clip included Al-Bazli - also known as Haj Al-Kassam - giving instructions to the terrorists under his command before the operation.
Lebanese media sources say that Hizbullah released the video after Al-Bazli was killed with Hizbullah forces fighting on behalf of government forces in Syria's civil war. Also seen in the video is arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh, who was killed by a car bomb in Damascus in February 2008. Hizbullah blames Israel for Mughniyeh's death.
