Egypt: Army Warns of Violence at Pro-Morsi Protest

The Egyptian army warned, Thursday, of violence during demonstrations scheduled for Friday by supporters of Mohammed Morsi, who has been under guard and investigation since being ousted as president almost three weeks ago. The army said, in a statment, that anyone resorting to violence would be risking their lives.

The Muslim Brotherhood movement called on its supporters to participate in a massive gathering under the slogan of "Breaking the coup". Morsi opponents also plan demonstrations for after Friday prayers.
