Urban Plan for 800 Dwellings Approved for Modi'in Ilit

The Superior Building Commission of the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria (Shomron) approved, Thursday, an urban building plan that will include 800 new dwelling units in the 20-year-old city of Modi'in Ilit, about halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The process of approving the plan was prolonged over years.

The plan, part of the solution to the housing shortage, will cover 32,000 square meters. In addition to dwellings, it will include public, commercial and industrial structures, as well as open spaces for the environment.
